Based on the 14th Intel®Core™ Ultra technology, the compact board - measuring 170 x 170 mm - is an extremely powerful industrial motherboard with up to 16 cores and 22 threads , depending on the CPU variant, and memory support of 96 GB.

A special feature is the low power consumption in combination with the high computing power. A high number of expansion options such as five M.2 sockets, two very fast USB4 ports and a further 6 USB ports complete the equipment for state-of-the-art applications. There are also three Displayport connections with the highest resolution of 7680x4320 @ 60 Hz. The sound is output via HDA with line out / line in / MIC in 3x 3.5 mm jack socket. The PCIe x16 (Gen5) socket enables the operation of powerful dedicated graphics cards or accelerator cards.

The high number of CPU cores and threads provides particular advantages for parallel applications. MIME is ideal for applications that require high CPU and/or GPU performance as well as security features such as ECC & hardware TPM. For example, AI systems, medical applications, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, micro servers, high-performance workstations, robust industrial automation systems, IoT EDGE applications and much more.

The main features of the MIME mainboard include the robust, soldered down CPU, a memory of up to 96 GByte DDR5 RAM with in-line ECC support (Error Correction Code), as well as a flexible power supply: from min. 15V to max. 26.4V DC. In addition to the "Intel® PTT Firmware Trusted Platform Module" and a TPM 2.0 chip (Infineon), the extended security features also include health monitoring and management with adjustable fan control, hardware monitoring and watchdog.

The PROFIVE® MIME is equipped with vibration-proof latching connectors for many of the internal connections, such as feature and serial port connectors. Great importance was also attached to durability where only high-quality switching regulators and capacitors were used.
